Meet Stas Moore

Stas is a dedicated individual pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Texas at San Antonio. With a profound goal of supporting and empowering individuals on their mental health journeys, Stas employs a collaborative approach to foster trust and establish a safe space through her adept non-judgmental listening skills.


Drawing from evidence-based theories, Stas specializes in equipping people with coping strategies to overcome life's challenges, particularly in areas such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Her extensive experience extends to helping those wrestling with issues like low self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship complexities.


Stas's practice is rooted in a client-centered orientation, where she seamlessly incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to facilitate growth and healing. Her holistic perspective aligns with her passion for nurturing the connection between the mind, body, and spirit, fostering wellness.


We're thrilled to welcome Stas on board at The Counseling Cove, where she will play an integral role in assisting with the DBT groups. Her dedication and expertise promise to be valuable assets in our mission to provide comprehensive mental health support.


Stas will be co-facilitating our bi-weekly DBT group for the 2023-2024 academic year.
